This is not uncommon and has no bearing on the quality of the finished and cured herb. As for mirrors, yes they reflect light. go outside on a sunny day with a mirror and try to reflect the suns light. Pretty darn bright. So bright you can start a fire. Mirrors reflect at specific angles, white defuses the light

ok question time lol…1. my plant is 4weeks in flowering and dont stink AT ALL, but look awesome!! whats the deal there? is it cause i got my head in there 10 times a day and dont notice? 2. And is it true mirrors soak up light instead of reflecting it? cause i got mirrors on 3 out of 4 walls, seems to work ok but i read somewhere that mirrors soak up light and i would be better off with a MATT WHITE paint(not gloss) is this true?

@Truthhurts3pm it is fine to prune off branches in the 4th week if you believe those branches are not going to yield anything but larf. It’s better to get this done before flowering so the plant can use that energy to create big buds instead of little ones lower on the plant that won’t end up filling in
@viglotti221 unfortunately its kind of a judgement call and takes a bit of experimenting to figure out which branches to remove. The idea is that by removing some of the lower branches the plants can redirect energy to the branches you want to keep. Decide which tops you want to keep and remove the others.
@crisberger The plants are a little spindly and sparse. Part of this is due to Blue Dream propensity to long internodal spacing and partly it is because the plants were not topped. This isn’t our grow room or necessarily and growing method we recommend. It is simply a video on pruning lower branches. As for Advanced Nutrients, I personally believe they produce a lot of good products but I have no objections to Canna’s products either.
If i were in the 4th week of flower would it be a bad idea to prune? Lets say the lower branches have flowers on them already. Would it still be optimal to prune the lower branches?

Possible over-nutrition explains the yellow leaves, lights are too far away which is why they cannot hold themselves up (stretching), and possible overheating which explains the curls so make sure it has fresh air coming in. Hopefully next time goes better.
mate your plants are stretching like crazy give me yer email and ill show u my 5 week olds! they are 4 foot high and 3 foot wide and im not joking! get more powerful lights with a decent reflector then have a fan blowing between the top of the plant canopy and the bottom of the light reflector, this will allow u to get your light a lot closer to your plants without burning them and stopping them stretching
the same happend to a friend of mine right after he transplanted. it has to have something with the soil.check your ph,i bet its below 6.5. i dont claim to know it all but it did happen to a friend.
Servere nitrogen deficiency you have to up the nutes a little when dealing work organic soils as they are very barren. That stuff looks like the lowes miracle grow organic stuff bad choice my friend but to salvage this grow the best u can just adjust ur nutes a bit
The one that is flowering will be hard to green back up. Looks like salt build up and you are getting some kind of lock out. Flush with water then try some cal-mag and compost tea. Transplant little ones right away in soil (ocean forest) since you have happy frog already,mix then both and transplant. Don’t give any nutes yet. Remember that soil will be full of goodies already. Just plain ph water.soil is forgiving.there should be enough nutes in it for like 3-4 weeks. good luck

happy frogs good stuff but the ocean forest has more organic material in it specifically for marijuana consumption. Im not sure what all is in happy frog but the ocean forest has bone meal, earth worm castings, bat guano, sea kelp, ph buffers and more…..i did a whole experiment grow using that soil and water my plants with nothing but tap water, no nutes and not to mention i started 12/12 str8 from seed i had the best tasting bud ive ever smoked..and each plant yielded an ounce and a little
when i saw it at first i thot it was from a lital bug that i had problems with but i thick that guy is right its some kind of defishansy in them so i sugest u water them dayly and get some good organic fertilizer

also When mixing my nutes I have to mix Micro first, then grow and then bloom. it says to do so on the label or otherwise the nutes can lock each other out. Also you need to give the nutes adequate time to mix with the water and each other and make sure your watering enough to get runoff so u wash away salt build up..
also when mixing your nutrients in water there is a certain method to do so and a certain order your N, P, and K are added to your gallon or so of water. For example i use holland secrets baseline of Nitrogen, Micro and Bloom.
that soil is garbage man ur ph is definitley probably off causing nutrient lock….they simply cant feed get u some fox farm ocean forest it has ph buffers in it already so u dont even have to test the ph or adjust it especially with the nutes you have…look at the label on them theyre made by foxfarm which goes great with the ocean forest soil. They’ll be fine tho trust me….never buy anything from lowes tho for future reference….happy growing and good luck!
Hemp, Cannabis sativa, is a plant just as any. So sow in in a pot and have it grow. The make good hedgerows in the garden. It’s good to know that there are different races of hemp. Some make good fibers, others are richer in tetrahydrocannabinol and are therefore a good starting point for analgesics. The active ingredient is found mainly in and around the female flowers.
Unpurified (not chemically extracted) it’s a mild drug. Prepared as tea or mixed with cake it has little effect (but it has). Smoked it’s more powerful, mut the tobacco smoke is not harmless.
The purified drug prepared from it is more controversial. For long it was held harmless and had many long term users without adverse effects. Lately it has come into the news that long term and/or heavy usage may give that final push to becoming psychotic to people susceptible to becoming psychotic. Still, incidental use, experimenting, is completely harmless. But be aware that many other drugs have completely different characteristics. Do not use anything you’re not independently well-informed about!
(and to the other people that have reacted: why not give serious information instead of starting to panic with the only effect that the boy’s got to find out these things on the street and by experimenting?????)

i hate to see a good crop go bad. sorry cant help with soil but i can with hydroponics (hydro is the way to go)

the color of the stems and some of some of the leaves look like a salt build up flush and start a light fertilizer cycle
its a fungus in the soil u need to flush the soil as much as possible and then add some malaise to feed the beneficial bacteria.
